Mona Erfanian came to the Caldas da Queen to show us her Art Project which tells the lives of historical Caldas characters and their inhabitants as an integral part of life in the city. Chatting with Mona ES brought to you the story of the people of the city of Caldas da Rinha.
Mona took a tour of the Caldas with paintings placed in strategic locations. A living display that tells the story of people in the city. Historical characters like Queen D. Leonor – the founder of the Caldas – Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro with his Zé Povinho and the people of the city are seen as characters of painted history.
